jupiterpractice.com is operated by Jupiter AI LLC, doing business as Jupiter Practice, a healthcare marketing studio working from Orange County, California and New York City. In this notice, "we" means Jupiter AI LLC. It covers this website: what the site collects, why, who else handles it, and how to reach us about it. Work we do for clients is governed by the agreement we sign with each client, not by this notice.

The short version

• The site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to see how visitors find and use it. Its advertising features are turned on, so Google may also use what it collects here for advertising. How to opt out is below.
• We only receive what you choose to send: a brief through Write to us, a question to Ask Jupiter, a booking, or an email.
• We do not sell your information. What you type into Write to us or Ask Jupiter is never sent to Google Analytics or any ad platform.
• Please do not send patient or health information through this site.

What we collect, and why

Write to us

Your name, your email address, your practice or organisation if you give it, the needs you select, and your message. We use them to reply to you and to prepare for a first conversation. The form is delivered to our inbox by email.

Ask Jupiter

The question you type, the section of the page you were reading, and the last few turns of the same conversation, so a follow-up question makes sense. To write an answer, these are sent to the AI model provider that powers Ask Jupiter. We use its paid service, under which it does not use your questions to improve its products. We keep a record of each question, the answer, the section you were reading and your approximate location (city and country, worked out from your connection). We do not store your IP address with it. We read these records to follow up on questions the assistant could not answer and to improve its answers. Our hosting provider also processes your IP address briefly, to deliver the answer and to stop abuse.

Booking a time

Bookings are handled by our scheduling service on its own website, under that service's privacy policy. We receive the details you enter there.

Emailing us

Mail sent to hello@jupiterpractice.com is forwarded to the mailbox where we read and answer it.

Visiting the site

To deliver pages and keep the site secure, our hosting provider processes the technical details every website receives, such as your IP address, your browser type and the pages requested.

We also count visits with our hosting provider's analytics: the pages viewed, the website that sent you here, your country, and your device and browser type. It sets no cookies, does not follow you to other websites, and gives us totals, not a profile of you.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this site. It places cookies in your browser and sends Google the pages you view, how long you stay, the links you click (such as Book a time), the website or search that brought you here, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. It does not receive what you type into Write to us or Ask Jupiter.

We have turned on Google Analytics' advertising features, including Google signals. This means Google may connect what it collects here to your Google account if you are signed in and have allowed ad personalization, use it to report on visits across your devices, and, if we advertise with Google, use it to show ads for this site to people who have visited it. Google handles this under its own terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can turn off ad personalization in My Ad Center, and you can stop Google Analytics from collecting data in your browser with Google's opt-out add-on. Your browser's Do Not Track setting does not change how Google Analytics works on this site.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers for hosting, analytics, data storage, AI, email and scheduling. Each receives only what it needs to provide its service, under its own terms. Google Analytics is named above; if you would like to know which companies the others are, email us and we will tell you.

How long we keep it

Briefs and emails stay in our mailbox as business correspondence for as long as we need them to respond, and for any work that follows, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Ask Jupiter records are deleted automatically 12 months after the question was asked. Google Analytics keeps visit data tied to your browser's cookie for 14 months; after that, only totals remain. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period and then discarded.

Health information

This site is for questions about marketing. Please do not include patient names, medical records or other health information in the form, an email or Ask Jupiter, and Ask Jupiter does not answer clinical questions. When client work involves patient data, it is handled under that client's agreement and, where the law requires one, a business associate agreement.

What you can ask us to do

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you. Email hello@jupiterpractice.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will reply within 30 days. Asking will never affect how we treat you.

Children

This site is meant for practice owners and marketers. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection, and access to what you send is limited to the people who need it to respond. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, so please keep sensitive details out of the form and Ask Jupiter.

Changes

When this notice changes, the date above changes with it.
